Clan Brodie is a Scottish family rooted in Moray, where the lands of Brodie lie between Nairn and Forres. Its early origins are uncertain, and Pictish ancestry is a long-standing possibility rather than a proven fact. The name is firmly documented in Moray’s medieval record, however, and Brodie Castle remains its best-known landmark. A royal charter confirmed Michael Brodie’s hereditary lands in the early fourteenth century, giving the family a clear historical place in north-east Scotland. This collection gathers the Brodie-name pieces available today.
The Brodie story reaches beyond a single castle. The family were active Covenanters in the seventeenth century, and Brodie Castle was burnt by Gordon forces in 1645 before later restoration. Those events make Moray, its religious conflicts and its local rivalries central to the name’s history.
Available designs include a woven cotton blanket, printed throw blanket, T-shirt and sweatshirt, cap, mug, tumbler, garden flag, phone case, necklace, ceramic ornament, coaster set, charcuterie board and novelty license plate. Each features the Brodie name and crest on a Scottish tartan background.
